I love the action, sensitivity and most everything about it. It’s way cheap but I’ve not used anything I like better for those things. Here’s the problem. I’ve broke 3 trying to get just average size crappie to the surface. So I’m ready to get something stronger before fall. What y’all recommend?

Yes sir. That’s why I’m trying to find one with the same characteristics just stronger.

As mentioned above, the Bass Pro Microlites are good rods, light years beyond the Shakespeare Micro.

Good to know about these rods, I almost bought one a while ago but wasn’t sure about them.

Yep. That’s the reason a asked. Like to hear from folks that have actually used anything before I buy.
