    Default Wheeler stripe fishing.

When do the stripe start their run in North Alabama?

Maybe we should get together and have a stripe rodeo.

Drove by there this morning about 0830 and there were only about 10 boats within 300 yards of the dam.

Years ago I can remember fishing double rigs with popping corks in the channels with my uncle. Loads of fish and fun. I do remember it was hot.

I’d say it’s about time we used to catch hundreds below Nickajack dam in June !
I’d say they can be caught most of the time down on the sandy banks of the Tennessee river!

I used to target late May for the Stripe. Haven't fished them for some time now.
