Default Kayak report for limestone creek

I fished limestone creek Wednesday and zeroed on crappie. Only caught 4 stripe and a bluegill. I fished up stream where we caught the stripe all the way down to the mouth of the bay. I hit all 3 of the pits also. I fished from 1 to 10 ft with no results. The water was semi clear and 61 . No idea what happened to the fish in limestone creek. I did see a small cotton mouth swimming around the bank of the last pit. They are easy to distinguish from a water snake as there whole body is out of the water when they are sitting still. Hope it improves soon. May be time to hit swan creek at the spring for gills. Very beautiful day on the water.

I fished there yesterday after work from 2 till around 6:30. Caught 1 about 6 inches, small bass and couple small gills. I had planned on trying somewhere different if I didn’t have to work.
