Not huge fish, but a fun time. Got to the lake about 0500 and but out some minnows under lighted bobbers. Darn Green Carp kept getting in the way, but I found a few crappie before it got light. That is a size 10 boot, so don't know exactly how big that carp was, but you can guess. Crappie were 3' deep taking the minnows. Then I switched over to jigs once it got light out. Finished with a half limit. Nothing huge mostly 10" fish. 7 of them were females with eggs not even ready to spawn yet. Best color was Blue Ice with a chartreuse head about 3-5' deep. Water clarity was about 3'.

Nice going Bob. What were water temps, if you recall?

Was fishing from the bank, so no idea what the temp was. Water felt cool to the touch though. LOL
