Second on the pro angler or BGJP the hitec rods are heavy,it's like fishing with a piece of rebar IMO and I also have a set from 10' to 16'Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G530A using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
I’ve got HT, BnM, jenko, southern crappie, 12’ thru 16’. Haven’t had any problems with the HT. They aren’t the heaviest of bunch. HT has a 14’ two pc that I love. So much easier to transport and store than the 3 pc.
That’s another reason I’m leaning away from the HT is the weight. There not bad when spider rigging but if you try to pick one up and jig a tree with it you won’t last long. They heavy. Gonna hang on to them though in case someone with me wants to rig off the back of the boat.
The BnM rods have not got a 6" bright red tip on the rods, they've gone away from the chartreuse tips.
Thats what I was saying I had mine in the boat and decieded to go hit some treetops and those poles, wore me flat out thats, when I,ordered two B&M crappie jack rods,to,fish treetops with, now I'm looking at the Tree Thumper rods from B&M Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G530A using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
