    Default RANT

went out to mooresville to launch at the gravel bar in limestone creek yesterday and water was up so only place to launch was where the road is submerged where it ends at the creek BUT there were 3 trucks who had backed up to the water to launch and didnt bother to move their trucks out of the way so others could launch or drive out to the gravel bar....I prob could have stood my flatbottom on edge and dragged it between a couple of those trucks without beating the trucks paintjobs up too bad.....decided to do it the hardway by driving around to pryor road and launching from the peninsula between limestone and beaverdam which is a hard thing to do with a flatbottom and no help.......it was as if those folks , particularly the ones who got there last didnt care if anyone else could use the resource or were just too dang lazy to CLEAR THE ACCESS with their vehicle after the launch.....rant over...fishing sucked

I’ve had that happen at the iron bridge. Two trucks backed in and I could barely get through.

Hook a chain to them and drag them out of the way... They would get the hint.

Infuriates me. I’ve noticed that most of the time it’s the big new trucks that think they have priority over everyone else.

I agree, I always park out of the way and drag my kayak to the water, but I've seen the same thing many times.

I hate you had to go to the bend to put in. We were 2 of the 3 trucks at the sand bar. In our deference, we launched and pulled over on each side if the road allowing easy access to the water. After we left someone in the big silver truck backed in between us and launched and never pulled up blocking access to the water. We never caught a crappie. The water looked perfect but the fish did not want to bite.Had several big stripe and skipjack. It was a beautiful day to be on the water.
