This might sound like a crazy question but how do you spider rig in 2 feet of water? I have only tried to kayak once and I was so out of shape and so clumsy I could not keep the kayak still. I was rocking so much that if I tried to spider rig the bait would be either on bottom or out of the water lol. Are you spider rigging with a float or without? When you cast to them are you using a jig under a float or just casting? What type of baits work best for you in the shallows?

We spider rig the sloughs off the river in 2 foot of water using floats and jigs tipped with minjows sometimes have them set at 6 inches
