Default Kayak report for limestone creek

I fished limestone creek on Tuesday. The water was very high and stained but not muddy. The water was so high At the put in spot you could not get out to the gravel bar. I paddled across the cut through into the first pit. Caught 8 keepers and several shorts.
I went back on Thursday and the water was down about 1.5 feet. Fished the pits and the bend in the channel. Ended up with 8 keepers and some white bass, skip jacks, small bass and several shorts. Saw Riverbass in the bend next to the last pit. All were released for another day. Very nice day out.

Looks like some fun there, good job catching them!

I rode over there yesterday evening, water looked good. Went back this morning. The creek at the first bridge on the road before you turn to go to the boat ramp was at the top of the banks. The creek at the west bridge was over the banks and out into the woods. The bay looked like chocolate milk. I put the boat in and put the rods out and started adjusting my rod holders so the new rods would be even. Messed with the anchor mode, heading lock, and speed control on the new trolling motor. One I got everything on the holders the way I wanted them, I pushed around for about 20 minutes playing with the trolling motor again. Then rolled everything up and came home.
