I have my millennium rack set up very similar to yours as far as spacing and my 14ft rods are guaranteed to be wrapped up together due to flexing. I’ll be wrapping the tips with Velcro this year, thanks to everyone for mentioning it.

Same, I would at minimum wrap the tips with something to tie them together so they’re not flexing and slapping each other, but I tend to overthink stuff

Looks good! I carry 18' rods on mine and they are only spaced 9'-6" apart and have never had any tip issues. That is the area rods are meant to bend. But I have sold extra sections so that they had 3 supports to many people because they "needed" them. Where you will have problems is if you get the supports too far apart so that the rods sag between them (supports too close to the tips).

They look good, you made an extra set for me didn't you? I may be doing something very similar very soon.

Mine are 8ft 9 inches apart. Didn’t really pick that particular distance, just where I thought the rods felt the most stable. I didn’t want the middle to be sagging and bouncing a ton. In my head that would be worse on then then the tips bouncing. Time will tell.

Naw I only built one set. I could build another set, but they would cost way more than 42 bucks lol.
