I think they're smart enough to track weather and temperature over a couple hundred years and point to warming conditions, just not sure how long our weather cycles are. If we have an ice age every 100,000 years that seems to mean a 100,000 year weather cycle. I'm a little suspicious of accurate predations based on only a few hundred years of that cycle. Besides, if we warm a bit and slow down or stop the next ice age, isn't that a good thing? If I remember school correctly the last ice age covered a good bit of the Northern US.

Will you tell more about your experience? Did you do it on your own? Help of a Dr? If so who that sort of thing. I'm pushing 285 and really want some help.

Other than from tips and encouragement from those on the same path did it on my own . I’ve never tried dieting but once in my life and to me a diet is a diet and once u come off the diet you end up in worse shape than you started . So it has to be a change in your life style the way you eat and what you eat makes all the difference in the world. And once you start eating the stuff that’s good for you and start feeling the results it’s easy to stay on that path! I’ll send u a pm with more info !

I had lost some weight back when Furbaby started keto. I lost around 20 lbs in a month and quit. I gained it all back and then some and started keto again Jan 1st. I'm down around 30 lbs this time and still going. I'm trying to get to 220, which is another 30 lbs. That's with zero exercise to. I get burnt out pretty easy cause I feel like I'm eating the same thing every day.

I may try that myself. Doc is on me about BP and cholesterol. And triglycerides are double what they should be. I just really love to eat.

I just really love to eat too and that's why Keto worked so well for me. You don't limit what you eat, to begin with anyway. With 75-80% of your calories coming from fat, you'll see that you can only eat so much and won't be hungry all the time. I also do intermittent fasting by only eating 6 hours a day. One thing I can for sure tell you, if you get hungry on the Keto diet, you aren't eating enough fat.
My last doctors appointment before I started Keto, my Triglycerides were 287. My next doctors appointment after starting Keto, only 4 months in, my Triglycerides were down to 117. April 4th will be 2 years since I started. I have not been near as strict the last 4 months of so any my cholesterol has gone up a bunch. If you're strict on Keto, your total cholesterol won't go up, and your LDL, HDL and Triglycerides will improve. I lost 105 pounds total and have kept the majority of it off. I slowly gained back 25 pounds over the past 5-6 months. I changed just 2 weeks ago to eating a low fat diet and nothing but whole foods. I'm eating oatmeal for breakfast and a meat and vegetables for lunch. Still doing intermittent fasting. I've lost 4 pounds since starting that.
Shew we ! Oatmeal ! YUK. I’ll stick to my 6-8 slices of bacon or 4 or so sausage patty’s and 2-4 eggs and stay full all day!
