kayak report for swan creek

Me and a buddy fished swan creek off sandy road today. The water was 2 ft high from summer levels with no stumps showing. Nether one of us caught a fish and i had one bite. Fished from daylight till 11:00 We tried everything from bass to crappie to gills. We fished back to the spillway in the back left, down the railroad track and back up to the spring. On the bright side, it was a beautiful day and easy paddling with the higher water. Temp was 58 at the open water at put in and 54 back by the railroad tracks. Lots of trash and 2 mattresses dumped where you park. I wish people would not throw out their trash !!!!!
