Are you putting in on CR1422 or 1352? I've personally never fished there but my wifes uncle has been trying to get me to go for a while. He said they used to always put in off CR1352. If we do go we will be taking my 1440 flattbottom. I'll take the motor off and try to strip it down as much as possible to make carrying it a little easier.

I started putting in on 1352. But Ditch Basser convinced me to put in on 1422. It’s better fishing there and a long paddle from 1352. But you have to go straight up and down the bank almost at 1422.

I don't think I'd try to drag a flatbottom up 1422 unless your the incredible hulk!

And if you go to 1352 where it runs off the gravel and turns to mud unless you have a monster truck I’d stop. I learned the hard way. Lol

Yeah we ate lunch with him after church yesterday and went by on the way home and he showed me the 1352 launch. He went a while back with a friend and they ran his friends duck boat in there and he said they had to get pulled out by a tractor lol. We both live close by so we may risk it and drive two vehicles and bring the tow straps in case haha.
