    This is my final response to LS or any other technology that is legal. All things for the most part that man makes are made with good intentions. Take a simple cell phone. If we texted and drive we all know what can happen. It’s only when man takes things and abuses them. Me and my much younger boss jokes all the time about who’s going to buy the other one LS. We both love to fish but we are both tight with what we have been blessed with. Our choice as we could both have one on the front and back of our boats I am sure of it.
    I think LS can be a great tool. I was talking with a friend Federal Game Warden about this. He said he doesn’t think it’s a problem and he also said based on the data taken on crappie we have absolutely no worries. However they do keep an eye on them and all fish. He said if there becomes a problem there is a solution. He said it’s called a slot limit.
    So fellows enjoy fishing. If you’re fortunate enough to have LS enjoy it, if you dream about owning one keep your dreams and go with someone who has one. See if it’s truly something you want. For those who don’t want the technology then keep it simple. All is our choice and we shouldn’t deny anyone what and how they want to fish as long as it’s legal and courteous to other fisherman. I have to admit in my younger days shy of dynamite and electricity I have used whatever it takes as long as it was legal. No fun looking over your shoulder doing anything is my thoughts.

    No that’s me. Lol. Fished all day with absolutely no electronics. Caught 2 keepers ,2 shorts and a few small bass. Maybe I need to try it. Lol

    Going fishing to me is more than catching. In fact, I throw back most I catch. Solitude, nature, the company I keep, and just enjoying myself is what I am after when I go. Not a cooler full of fish to post, but a nice picture post of something on the water I saw. This to me is "fishing".

    Would I hunt next to a deer feeder - no. Will I fish with 16 poles, with two shiners on each pole - no. Will I hunt fish with a LS to fill the live well - no. Not out to impress anyone on my accomplishments to be congratulated on how well I "fished". Yes, I have a Lowrance DSI to locate structure, GPS for boat lanes, etc. That's all. The way I roll.

    How about a slot limit 30 keeps and they have to be above 10" and below 14". And let's keep it that way for 4 years till we run that sorry ASS DNC excuse for a president out of D.C. No need to get them government paid Mr. green jeans involved let's police ourselves.

    I’ve kinda got to change my post. I did have one means of technology. My cell phone. And my buddy CatchNGrease was constantly sending me info on different things to try. That’s what I like about most crappie fisherman they are always ready to help.Him and Ditchbasser have been more than awesome in trying to help a non talented person who fished their tail off try and get better and figure these picky fish out. Thanks to y’all. And Merry Christmas to all of you guys. After all we are all after the same thing.
