    Default Guntersville report

I got diagnosed with the Rona last Thursday so I'm in time out from the world. I can't sleep late, even while sick, so since I couldn't go to church yesterday I decided to be at the lake when the sun started cracking yesterday and fish a little and be home for Internet church....

When I got there, I didn't feel worth a flip and TVA had decided to flush the toilet again and pull the bottom out of the already low lake. I guess in anticipation of the rain.... The lake was about 8" lower than it was only a few days before.

Me and Fur lite found plenty of em, but didn't get a bite. Not a tink, not a line bounce, not a thump. My line never moved, except the one time I hit a piece of pine straw and the once when I set my hook on an oak leaf that was cruising the shallows... The fish don't like an abrupt water drop IMO. Also the water is so clear you can see structure 5-6 feet deep, 30-40 feet away while sitting down. Poor fish are gonna be sunburned.

    Maybe next time.

I hate you got the Kung Flu! Glad you feel good enough to go fishing. What about Fur Lite? He got it too? Yesterday was a beautiful day so naturally TVA would mess the water up. Again buddy hope you recover soon and don't get real sick. You in my prayers! If you need me call or better yet get Mrs.Fur to call and I can sell her some antiques

Make that trip down where and I'll put you on tons of fish the same way. The live scope has been my saving grace. When I'm on fish like this and that's only the small wad of them, and can only pick off a couple it's bad. I can drop a minnow down in them and they could care less. Its just tough right now but once the start to hit watch out, it will be 30 cast 30 fish. Name: 20201209_085023.jpg

Thanks guys. I'll beat it. I haven't had any breathing problems. I haven't had a fever either. Just feel like I've been runtover by a truck. Today I feel some better, but then I felt that way Saturday too. Yesterday was definitely the worst day so far. Today is day 6 since I started getting sick. I haven't had any of the most common symptoms. I did lose my sense of taste yesterday for about 6 hours! LOL That was weird.

I'm pretty sure my daughter has it now. My wife may too. They're all gonna get tested tomorrow. My wife's dad is in his 90's and everybody has to get the all clear or we won't be able to visit him for Christmas.
