Default Kayak report for arrow head, limestone creek

I fished Thursday from 7:30 till 3 . The water was very low. The gravel bars on the way to the creek were mostly out of the water. The current was very strong in the creek and made for a hard paddle on the way back. All of the pits were land locked. I saw a another kayak and a flat bottom boat that were bass fishing. I caught 12 or so crappie with 4 that would measure. all caught on jig 12 inches below a float. I caught several bream and a couple bass. Not many fish but a very nice day on the water

I fished yesterday. I think I’m done there till spring. I caught 2 that would measure. Maybe 5ir6 shorts. Several gills and a couple a couple small bass. You are right about the paddle back. Imagine it in a cheap kayak that doesn’t track great in still water. Lol

That was me in the flat bottom. Nice to meet you. I fished Piney Friday. Not as many bass as Limestone. All small. Saw a huge school of baby bass on Piney. Had to have been a couple hundred.

I primarily bass fish, so I don't really know. They both hold bass really well though.

Oh ok. Well since I know that I’ve been told that 8 mile creek is great bass fishing. Just some info.

Same here. Do you catch any big bass up in limestone in the winter ? What baits work best. Thanks
