Very cool, thanks for sharing.
I was jigging right next to downed trees. I saw something out of the corner of my eye that didn't look exactly correct, turned my head, and realized I was two feet from this little fella. It never moved. My first sighting. A very cool day.
For those that know the area, this was on the third down tree , as you come into limestone creek from the river, on the right.

Won’t let me see pics for some reason. Gator?

Saw one on that same tree a few weeks back. Definitely make your hair crawl for a second. Bit if I a choice between that or cottonmouth. I'm taking the gator. In out of the boat. Not to derail but man that water looks stained and moving. That is for the picture.

They're cute when little, give him another 50 years, LOL!
Thanks or sharing.
Handsome little fellow! Just out enjoying the sun!
Since I know nothing about gators.
Is it just sunning?

Gators are cold blooded, anytime the air is warmer than the water they'll be out on a log or the bank. If the water is 55 degrees but it's a sunny afternoon in the 60's they'll be out of the water sunning.

Thanks for posting. Did you catch any fish ? I have never seen a gator in Arrowhead but know they are there.
Just a little harmless lizard. I used to wade fish around some BIG ones down in FL - but then I was young and bullet proof. Won't do that again.
