Thread: Thanks Ditch Basser

I’ve been getting help from him for a long time. Probably got on his nerves at times. But I finally got to see him in action today. And I will say he is the man. I got turned around looking for him. But we finally met up and I saw first hand how it’s done. I fished a little and watched more. He had over 20 and returned well over 10 over 12 inches when I left. I caught a short and the smallest gill I’ve ever caught. Could be discouraging but instead makes me want to spend all the time I can on the water.Thanks again for letting me tag along DB.

I still say some people just have a God given talent for catching fish. You are no doubt one of those. But if nothing else I learned one important thing I think. The way you keep moving. I’m the worlds worst about finding a good looking lay down or something and fishing it for a couple of hours. Especially if I catch just one fish. So I’m gonna work on breaking that habit. I’ve also asked for just a cheap fish finder for Christmas. I’ll never catch fish like you do but I ain’t gonna give up. Fish finder may not help much but it can’t hurt.At least I’ll know how deep the water is. Lol
