You and me both! I've got a boat pistol, a truck pistol, and a pocket pistol. If a meth head gets me at a boat ramp, it won't be because I wasn't well armed.

Damion, I hate that happened, but stuff happens. I broke the hydraulic fittings off the steering lines on my boat Saturday. I did that 15 minutes after I figured out that I had inadvertently done something to the running and gauge lights on my boat while pulling new wires. So instead of fishing, I get to work on my boat. I can idiot proof my boat, but I can't Fur proof it. LOL

Lol. Hate that. Yeah I learned a long time ago stuff happens. No matter how careful you are.

Waded out there and was looking around and hit a slick spot and was down from knock down. Still had my PFD on and had my phone in it. Dead. Had to walk soaking we to greenbrier to the store and call someone to come get me. Then call my wife to bring the extra key. She wasn’t happy. Lol. Went back after work yesterday with a magnet and sift net. Looked all the places I could think of. Gave up with a few minutes of light left and fished about 40 minutes. Caught 5 keepers and several
small ones. 2 of them were over 13 inches. Caught on a chartreuse slider about 2 feet under a float. Wish I had started fishing earlier.

You are right. They got better when I caught a few. Lol. The keys aren’t a real big deal. Just made me aggravated at myself. And I’ll have to drive 2 hours to get a key for the storage building. But luckily my fishing stuff wasn’t in there so no rush. Lol
