Thread: Kayak report limestone creek (Thursday)

A couple of us fished the limestone creek, gravel pit area Thursday from 9:30 till 3 . We only caught 1 crappie and some small bass and gills. My first time fishing there. The water dropped and the return trip to the old bridge was more of a drag across the rock bars. Looked like the water was high and very clear.We fished all the pits except the last one before you hit the bay. Hope to go back and try it again before it gets cold. Very nice paddle with the trees turning.

I went Friday and only caught one as well. I only got to fish a couple of hours.And like you caught a bunch of smaller gills. They were still pulling water pretty hard then. Hope to get back soon.
