    Default Kayak Trip Report, Limestone Bay/Creek - 7 NOV


    I fished Limestone again, tuff day and I'm not sure why. The water had cleared up with visibility of about 12 inches to 18 inches and 58 degrees. I kept half a limit and returned several dozen short fish. Small bass and gills were everywhere, just very few Crappie that would measure. I left with half a limit. I did managed a three or four on jig and bobber, but most were single pole on isolated cover with a handful more casting a small spinner.

    Pictures tomorrow when I clean them.

    I went for a couple hours after work yesterday. Caught one crappie over 14 inches and no telling how many gills.

    It seems like little gills are everywhere, wished I could find some big ones, LOL!

    We fished Thursday and only caught 1 crappie. Must have been a off day.Hope to try it again soon. Thanks for the report
