    Default Limestone

Went back to limestone yesterday. Since the locked the gates it’s a long paddle to where I fished last Friday but I decided to go for it. Caught nothing. Started thundering so I headed back. Got soaked. It stopped so I went into a gravel pit. First three casts 3 fish over 12 inches. Then nothing. Caught a big shell cracker and couple of gills. Caught one a little over 10 just before I left. But always fun to get out.

Glad you got out. Usually after a cold front they slow down in the spring, but in the fall they'll keep biting as long as you've got cloudy skies and some chop on the water.
