Ugh!!I went to arrowhead fished about an hour for nothing. How long will it stay that way at limestone?

I made another trip to Limestone today, I took half day off from work. Another great day of Crappie fishing and Crappie catching. Same tactics, single pole on isolated cover with a white marabou and tossing a little spinner. I kept a limit of small Crappie and returned over a limit of fish that measured 12 inches or better, largest was just over 16 inches. The water continues to clear up and was 70 degrees.
New fishing bubby was there also!

That's a good looking stack of specs.

The fish will be in there until the water drops into the 40's, shad are everywhere.
I went again before the rain Friday. Th fish won't leave, but fishing will be harder with more current and it mudding up.
Good report, kinda nice seeing animals you don't see every day to

Nice job Ditch!
Another awesome trip DB! Congrats on another great cooler full of fillets. Nice fishing buddy. What kind of spinner are you throwing?
Bob,
I'm using a 1/64oz Bobby Garland Itty Bit jig head with a Betts 30-5-0N Jig Spinner and a Charlie Brewer 1" slider. I end up with a spinner that I can retrieve super slow in 12 to 18 inches of water. Works for covering lots of super shallow water quickly, but slowly enough that a Crappie will hit it.
