Had a blowout coming in from Wedowee with Glenn. Discovered the tires were original tires that came on trailer. They were manufactured in 2006 guess this is truly a low hour boat. 14 yo old tires still on it. Parker tire our local shop said they were dry rotted. Looks like next upgrade.

Goodyear rep told me they should be replaced every 3 years. That is about all I can get out of one before it separates.

My tire dealer told me replace trailer tires every 4 yrs.. No matter how good they look. That's what I have been doing on boat trailer and camper. He also said to buy trailer tire and not car tires.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Yep about 3 or 4 years on trailer tires. Camper probably more likely 3.

Been there done that unfortunately.... Bought a boat with what looked like brand new tires and the same thing happened to me. Luckily I wasn't far from the tire store and, it didn't completely blow out. The cap stated coming off the tire. I limped it down the road about 3 miles. Glad it didn't bust the fender Bama
