Default Kayak Trip Report, Bradford Sinks

I fished Bradford on Redstone Arsenal Saturday spider rigging white Marabou jigs. Slow day with no big fish, but managed to take 18 home and released several dozen short fish. Water was a little muddy, visibility of about 12 inches and 72 degrees at daylight. Bass and catfish were on fire, I released over a dozen bass and five large channel cats. Not sure where the Crappie went, there were no baitfish schools or Crappie in the open water and every time I got close to the Lilly pads I'd hook a bass or catfish.

I left the fish on ice over the night and cleaned them this morning.

Nice work! I've been dying to get out. We just moved a week and a half ago. The past couple of months have been wasted with house shopping , house selling, and moving stuff. My kayak is in a storage building. I've got to get out soon, especially with this cool weather.

Nice job DB. It has been some time since I was able to chase crappie. Been tied up fishing for green carp.
