Default Kayak Trip Report, Moulton New City Lake

I returned to Moulton today fishing from daylight till about 2PM. Tried working the banks catching mostly little bass and gills. Finally moved to deep weed edges working the bottom in 18 to 20 feet of water, kept half a limit of Gills and Shellcrackers that were 9 inches. No Crappie today, but the gills will make a great lunch tomorrow! The water was 83 degrees at daylight and had warmed to 85 by afternoon. The water has cleared with visibility of about 5 to 6 feet.

I kept the fish on ice and cleaned them after sundown once it got a little cooler.

Always a great report. Wonder where the Crappie were hiding? Actually I prefer the bream.
