Default Madison Countly Lk, Sat 25 Jul

Thought I'd get out for a few hours before it got too hot. Fished 0600-1100. Water temp was 87 when I started and 91 by the time I left. Visibility had increased to about 2' which is better than previous trips this month. Trolled, jigged and spider rigged, just never really found the crappie. The bass were relentless. Found this guy while trolling, with a 12' PST and 6 lb test, it was a hoot for sure. Weighed just a little over 5 1/2 lbs. Total of 7 bass, 2 shellcrackers, 3 bream and one lone crappie. Was just good to get out of the house for a few hours. Lol

That looks like alot of fun on 6 lb. test and a 12' rod.

At least you caught some bass. Sounds like a fun day away. I went to Neely Sunday just to run my boat and found several deep brush piles that where loaded. So if you want to go down let me know I'll tell you where to find them
