I've been out of town for work the last two weekends, but will be back chasing the thump for the 4th of July weekend!

I’ve been doing pretty good at town creek using the small 1 1/4 inch Bobby garlands on a double jig rigged with 2 1/64 jigs with chart head and patriot body. Caught 5 keepers last Thursday evening and 7 keepers Saturday evening and probably 30 or so fish from 5 to 8 inches

Been out of commission the last couple of weeks, our son was born this past Monday. Might be a bit before I'm able to get away again for a trip, plus fishing from the bank is tough sledding this time of year. I did pretty well at Town Creek beginning of June fishing with minnows at about 10 ft deep. I'm dying to catch crappie from the bank on Wheeler, but I'm having a hard time finding a spot that produces in the summer.
