Default Kayak Trip Report, Ditto Landing

I took today off work and fished Ditto Landing. Little slow, but managed to kept half a limit and returned 5 that were over 12 inches. Most were caught on a 1" slider on a 1/32oz jig head casting the edges. I found a log that got washed into the back slough by getting hung on it. I marked it and retuned with my jig rod a couple hours later and picked up a few on a White Marabou 1/32 oz. The water was 78 degrees at 6AM and had warmed to 81 by 1PM, Visibility of about 12 inches.

They preferred pink (I think it's called bubblegum) with a Chartreuse tail today. You just never know, Chartreuse with the Orange tail is always my go to though.

Great report DB! Is that area upstream of the HSV water treatment/disposal release?

    Bob D,

I fished the back slough across the road from the boat harbor not Aldridge Creek.
