You have nothing to apologize for, that's for remembering. There's a lot of young folks that just think it's a celebration for the start of summer.
Veterans Day is almost embarrassing to me, it was my honor and privilege to serve this nation that has given me so much. Memorial Day is different, I spend a lot of time think of so many buddies that didn't make it home. I can't even imagine the pain and loss to their families.
