    Get excited! I caught one a couple years ago in the Moulton New City Lake that was just a hair short of 15 inches and probably two and half pounds. I didn't even know they got that big. I released the fish, but have been back several times a year hoping to catch it again or one bigger. Nothing like catching a "panfish" that fights like a four pound bass on Red Bull.

    I don’t know what happened to me. I loved catfishing but now I’d rather catch a good crappie or shell cracker than a 20 lb blue cat.

    Guilty here! Been holed up splitting wood gardening etc.weather permitting gonna go blue cat float fishing first thing in the am! Will report.

    Left at 6:00, back in town at 9:30. Kept 17 blues averaging 2 lbs.now to clean fish and recharge boat. Mitchell. No real biggies, just good eaters!
