Nothing wrong with that, if it don't get you fired up you need to find something else to do lol.

Get excited! I caught one a couple years ago in the Moulton New City Lake that was just a hair short of 15 inches and probably two and half pounds. I didn't even know they got that big. I released the fish, but have been back several times a year hoping to catch it again or one bigger. Nothing like catching a "panfish" that fights like a four pound bass on Red Bull.

I don’t know what happened to me. I loved catfishing but now I’d rather catch a good crappie or shell cracker than a 20 lb blue cat.

Good luck chuckster! FYI, Lilly Pond (back water slough over by Priceville) is good for several dozen channelcats any trip. PM me and I'll tell you how to catch them!
A good one for sure, congrats!
Left at 6:00, back in town at 9:30. Kept 17 blues averaging 2 lbs.now to clean fish and recharge boat. Mitchell. No real biggies, just good eaters!
Heck yeah. I don’t eat them much bigger than that.
