Thumbs up Load of Bream on Wheeler 15 May 20

Well, there is at least on crappie in the live well there, plus the double limit of bream. Got out on Wheeler yesterday and was able to get on one of my favorite Bream beds. The boys were there, 95% of the fish we kept were nice bull males. Got a nice mess of bream and shell crackers. Got on the water about 0830 and finished up around 1400. Talked to my fishing buddy this afternoon and he finally got thru cleaning the bunch mid day today. I kept a few to try whole frying them. Everyone says they are great that way, so I thought I'd give it a try for a change of pace from fried fillets. Water was 74 degrees and visibility was about 3'. Using red worms mostly, but it really didn't matter much, they would suck down a cricket or a jig under a bobber just as quick as the worms. Could fish one half a worm for a good 10-15 bites before needing more bait so that was the easiest way to keep fishing at that pace.
