    Default Short trip to Mississippi

Went over to Enid Thursday morning and battled the wind 10+ mph winds and upwards of 20 mph gust until about 1 had 8 12 1/2”+ keepers had a couple close to 14” and caught close to 30 found fish 12-15’ deep in 18-21’ pulling double 1/16th took a break from the wind that evening and went to lower Sardis 7 keepers and about 20 shorts found the fish their to be 11-13’ in 12-20’ went to Grenada Friday morning first 1-1/2 hour no bites made a move and landed on several had 9 over 12 1/2” and about 12 shorts for the next 4 hours several over 17” fish were 12-15’ in 18-21’ all fish still full of eggs .the eggs at Enid were very black looking but the other 2 places they still very yellow and full of blood. Water temps about the same at Enid and Grenada around65° 63° at lower Sardis. All in all was a good trip being the first one for me in the spring.
    Didn’t get much pic

Sounds like a fun time. We have fished Grenada many times. Haven't been in 3 years now and I miss it. Have had some good times and some terrible times but overall we like going there.

Way to go Mitch looks like a good trip especially compared to what I’ve been catching (or actually Not catching) over here.
