BB fishing from the bank here is how I got started on them. Lots of good bridges and causeways to find a few. What part of Morgan County do you live in, so we can vector you in on some places you can try. I'm in Madison.

    Welcome Sir,
Flint Creek is a great creek. Several different bridges that you can get too and fish. Stating at Vaughn Bridge road and following all the way Kayo Road. Another couple f spots to try is the Suzie Hole in Wheeler wildlife refuge. You can access from Hwy 67 out of Decatur (google it) . Another is Limestone Creek on other side of the Tenn River. There is a walking trial you can fish down the west side of it. Good Luck! Welcome aboard.

I know where Susie Hole is for sure, I'll have to give it a shot, thanks! I fished the I-65 bridge pilings last weekend before the cold wind blew me out of there, didn't get any bites. Water was still high and muddy too. Also, have you caught 'em at Vaughn Bridge before? I've fished there a couple of times since it's really close to the house, but no luck yet.

I'm fairly new to crappie fishing. This Spring is the first time I've set out with the intention of targeting crappie. I'm a bank fisherman, which I know presents its share of challenges for catching these fish, but it has been fun learning so far.

I did have some success finding some fish in Flint Creek back in the middle of March, but it's been tough sledding for me since then. With not having much background or knowledge on patterning fish it's been a little difficult to know where to look lately. I am assuming that fish should have spawned near the banks recently, or they may be done by now, still trying to figure that out . Would love to hear from some of you other bank guys on what your tactics are this time of year and what type of cover you're looking for?

Below are a few pictures of some fish I caught last month. These fish were in a small tributary off the main Flint Creek channel holding in 5-6 foot of water, caught them on Bobby Garland Electric Chicken Baby Shad and Chart/Black tube jigs under a float. I had a ball catching these fish and it's ruined me I do believe! Not to mention how good they taste in some cornmeal and peanut oil !
