Looks awesome! I find these as a bonus fish when I'm crappie fishing. What is your goto bait/method for catching crackers?

i like a squirrel tail jig tipped with a short piece of red worm best . I Seam to catch the bigger ones on some type small jig like that ! I also use bison colored trout magnet or a keystone minnow . But sometimes they are stubborn and only like a short piece of red worm ! I’ll try it on a float first and if I see activity and no bites on the cork I’ll try the bottom .we have tons of milfoil and black moss if it wasn’t for that I’d fish it on bottom only.

As winter fishing kinda wraps up I found myself looking forward to gills and shellies more and more. I fish the new and full moon all the through August. Lighten the tackle and they are a blast. And yeah I'd rather clean and eat them. Great post thanks for sharing.
