Just had mine out for the first time today. It is really neat but I found it hard to keep the beam pointed directly at a target. And I have mine mounted on a pole.

Well I ended up calling garmin got a top notch fellow got the thing up and running every thing works just fine thank the lord above now I'm waiting on the live scope then I be ready for a lesson

Seems like a lot of people have their Livescope transducer mounted to their trolling motor. I have mine mounted separately on a Liftsaver Transducer Pole Mount and it works perfectly. It is very sturdy and maneuverable. It makes it easier to “aim” your transducer at the structure that you are wanting to look at. My buddy has a Fishing Specialty Mount and he likes his too. Check them out!
