    Default ELK River report

I fished the shoe maker- Anderson creek area Friday. No crappie and only a 3 lb bass to show for it. Lot of spider rigging in the mouths of the creek but did not see a lot of catching. Water was full pool with water temp at 62 degrees. Any one catching any up shallow or on the banks yet ?

Have not had a good year on elk and ac in a few years. You can pick up a few one day and then nothing for a few.

I went to Cedar Saturday had 5 keepers and Sunday had 15 keepers and a lot of short fish and it was a real struggle very very slow all fish was caught in around 30' of water and the surface temp. was 66 to 67 and the fish was still full of eggs.

Me and my son went to Little Bear Saturday we only caught 3 crappie all were 10 to 11 inches. We caught quiet a few spotted bass in the 13" range. When you would throw a minnow in alot of the time the cork would just never stop and a small spot would be on the line. Water temp was 63 early in the morning.
