Got to the lake at 7 am. Dad got a hit on his first cast, set the hook.....nothing. Fished till 2pm. His first cast was the most action we had all day. Water temp was 64. Threw everything in the boat at them. Fished shallow fished deep. Fished here. Fished there. Nothing. ?? Maybe next time

Fished all Friday morning on Neely Henry and not even a bite. Beautiful weather. People are fishing everywhere, which indicates to me that no one knows where the fish are.

It's that time of the year where the fish just...DISAPPEAR.

I was once fishing with an older friend in His boat without a bite. He pointed an old bony finger at His fish finder and said "Look! There they are! I just don't get it! We have not even got a bite!"
I said "You are right Joe, I see them too. Best I can figure they must have some kind of finder, and they are all gathered up and looking at us, too".

They were a little tight lipped Friday and Saturday on Gville but I managed about 20 each day. The afternoon bite on Friday was better than the morning bite. Wish we would have gotten there a little earlier in the afternoon though. Started catching them as soon as we pulled up and had 12 in an hour and then they stopped. Caught them anywhere between 4' and 14' with lots being black females still full of eggs.

Yep they been biting that last hour of the day. It's like this every wherever right now. Best advice I can tell everyone is if you find some fish go back later in the evening. Just move around a lot and wherever you seen or caught the most go back that last hour and do the best you can.
