    Default Cedar creek 3-19-20

Skipped out on work the last few days and decided to try some different water. Hadn’t been to cedar since last year so I figured give it a go. Messed around in the timber a little while caught 1 crappie 1 stripe. Then put the poles out started pushing jigs. Probably caught 35 crappie brought home 25 keepers. Caught at least 30-40 stripe. Also caught about 20 bass. Besides the 20mph wind it was a fun day on the water catching fish.

Fished Little Bear yesterday. Spent the day in the wind. Got 30 pulling roadrunners. Yellow and chartreuse Charlie Brewer tails produced best. Bite was slow it took awhile. Just good eating size not outstanding.

I put in at slick rock. They have a new dock since I have been last. I think the rain tore it up earlier in the year. The wind B was howling. It was tough for sure

Way to figure it out in tough conditions. That wind makes it rough for sure.

I hit Little Bear last Tuesday....my bass fishing buddy went along. He never picked up a crappie rod, so I ended up after a slow start crappie fishing changing over and fishing for bass. The wind was howling for sure. We kept 1 crappie and I believe 10 spots for his aunt and uncle who wanted some fish to eat.

I ended up with 35 keepers Saturday. I had 22 by 9. I thought we was gonna smoke them. We caught 9 in the 1st cut about a 75 yard stretch. It was cold for sure I didn’t have enough clothes on I froze all day. The weather man lied lol. But scratched out a decent amount of fish. A buddy in another boat brought home 30 Saturday also. He was trolling too.
