    Default Gville yesterday

I hit the water at daylight yesterday morning with every intention on finding some new places to fish. I found a couple schools of fish stacked in the mouth of some ditches, but they were pulling water so fast I couldnt do anything with em. About 1 pm I'd had enough of not catching and I hit one of my old holes. Ended up cleaning 26 I believe it was. Caught em over grass in 8 fow mainly on minnows spider rigging. I found another school the last hour of dark and I single poled them with a baby shad but I dont know the color. It was a shade of white with blue flakes. I'm about ready for this water level to go down where I can put in at my usual ramp. I had to run 10 miles from where I put in and it was one cold ride back last night in the dark. I've been on this kick about weighing my biggest 7 also. The biggest 7 yesterday went 9.78 with a 1.75 big fish.

Nice job there. Sounds like you worked hard to get them. I want to get up there when the water settles down.

Its rough right now. Giant logs floating down river. I was a little gun shy to try it last week but I was tired of waiting for it to settle down. A feller could get in some serious trouble on it right now as cold as it is and as much debris as what's floatin.

That white BG bait with blue fleck in it is called Glacier. One of my favorites, along with Monkey Milk.
