    Default Ditto Landing

Never fished ditto landing before so hoping to get some wisdom from y’all who have! Do y’all have better luck in the creek on the right as you come in or in the harbor by the boat docks?

I have fished it many times with my father before he passed. The creek is very shallow once you get past the metal bridge going over it near the river. Further down is deeper. The creek should be good for the spawn. The docks are always a good place to fish if you have a boat and can jig around the boats that are there. If you are bank fishing the side where the pipes are for water to go under the causeway is a good area to fish on either side. If the water is rising fish the side where the water is going into the back area. My dad would always catch bass and crappie by the pipes waiting on bait fish to come out of the pipes.

Bamafan2277 is dead on. I fish the back slough year round and the boat harbor is great also. The creek is great for gills in the summer, but I've only caught good numbers of crappie during the spring.
