    Default Duck River Reservoir

You guys think the fishing will rebound from the dam issue resulting in very low water levels within the next 5 years? I'm on the fence. My thoughts are that with the water being so low, what bait fish that are in there are probably going to get wiped out. The fish I caught from there were thin to begin with.

That’s just my luck. Finally found a place close to home that even I can catch fish from and now it’s probably gonna be ruined.

I would bet you probably want see much of a difference. Crappie replenish fast in smaller lakes. If anything it may help just to get the numbers down.

Maybe you guys are right. My concern was primarily about the baitfish getting depleted with the water being smaller.

How much did they draw it down? I can only find 1 article that said 20 feet.

I'm not familiar with this lake but I do fish smaller lakes regularly and most don't have a lot of bait fish anyway. In my experience the main pray in these lakes are bream fry. Bluegill spawn many times a summer and that seems to be the most abundant food in the smaller lakes. Again I've never seen this lake so take that for what it's worth
