Default Kayak Trip Report, Limestone Bay/Creek

I gave Limestone a try today, water is a foot or two above summer pool. Fish were hard to find, left with four and returned a couple shorts. The few that I caught were in 18 inches of water. The water is fairly clear with visibility of 12 to 18 inches and 51 degrees at daylight. It had warmed to 53 by the time I left around 2PM. The now normal deeper spots aren't even showing fish on the fish finder, maybe the warmer water has them shattered shallow right now?

Y’all let us know how you do. I get off work at 12 on Monday and had thought about giving it a try if the weather is good.

    Damion Kidd,

If your bank fishing bring waders, the water is flooded out of the banks.
