    It’s a walleye then...

    I caught 2 of them. Had never caught one before. Life list!

    The Sauger and wall eye as well are showing up better than they have in years below G ville dam. If only they don't get poached next year a person might get a limit of 5 15 inches and bigger I talked to THE MAN when down there the other day and he is busting a few. I told him he needs to advertise the fine!! I also learned straight from his mouth that there is no size limit for the Walleye but you can only keep 2. You just better make sure its a walleye !! .

    THE MAN needs to step up his game. He could have written tickets to at least 3 people that I saw keep a short Sauger while we were there.

    Walleye for sure in the second pic, the Illinois River has been on fire for the sauger and walleye this past week boats going out and catching huge numbers of quality fish
