Default Kayak Trip Report, Ditto Landing

I fished Ditto Landing from 8AM till about 3PM today. The water is at summer, full pool level. The Crappie were scattered feeding on Shad. I spider rigged 4 poles with a 1/16oz White Marabou jig 3 to 4 feet down in 6 to 8 feet of water. I kept a limit and returned many, many more, both short fish and 20 or 30 that would have kept if I hadn't already limited out. Most fish were short or 12 inches plus with fat bellies full of shad. Great day to catch so many fish 100 yards from where my truck was parked. The water is clear with visibility of about 12 to 18 inches of water and 47 degrees at daylight, warming to 49 by the time I left.

Wife wanted to do some shopping when I got home so the fish went on ice, photo's tomorrow when I clean them.
