I may would try it for a bit. If it ruffled any feathers I write it off and be gone. Too many other places to fish to put up with any drama. During the middle of the week on a work day tends to be good times to fish areas where you may be confronted. Less people around then

Brad when you or a business builds a structure inside TVA's Easement the dock or structure in actuality belongs to them. Check a permit for building a dock and you will see that. You can fish anywhere your boat will float and under any dock or structure that has not been set as off limits by TVA such as around dams and construction sites. If they don't like it tough

I know of no law that prevents you from fishing around or under a dock on public waters.
Had an owner put a motion detecting sprinkler system on a dock I fished.
I reported him to the game warden and they made him take it down.
If someone is fishing on a dock, I never fish it.
If no one is fishing on it, it's fair game.

No fish is worth a bad confrontation. If an owner comes out and is upset, I leave.
The next time I go fishing, I fish that same dock if the fish are there.

Had a dock owner call the law on us while we were putting out structure one year. They were yelling and screaming and had the video camera going telling us to quite dumping garbage in the lake. The coast guard showed up, saw what we were doing and left without saying a word.

On TVA waters, they give marina owners the right to post as no fishing if desired.

Growing up fishing from a young age to date, there were not is many homes on the lakes and marinas.I fished with my dad and granddad were there are now homes, marinas whatever? I will still fish these areas, because they produce fish and have great memories . Maybe they should move?
