    Default Logan Martin 12-5

Got out yesterday for about 3 hours. Brought 14 home and probably missed 20 more. The bite was so soft, ended up tight lining. Had 4 rods out with minnows and corks, but couldn't hook one. All fish were at least 12" with the largest over 14". Caught 1 2lb bass, and had one about 4lbs straighten my hook out while trying to net him.

Water was 28 foot and fish were on a tree top around 14 foot.

Good job! Going to have to make a trip to Logan Martin. I haven't fished it in a while. It got pretty slow for the last few years but I heard it was better this year. I only live 20mins away but I just don't go there much. Did you get a water temperature?

Yes it has been real slow for the past two years, so maybe it's gonna pick up. Water temp was 56.5 where I was, on the main river channel across from clear creek.

Can you eat fish out of Logan Martin? Seems like I remember somebody a few years back saying not to eat them.
