    Default THANKSGIVING WEEKEND IN GUNTERSVILLE

We are excited about going fishing next weekend in Guntersville. Staying at the state park Thur & Fri night and pulling out Sat around noon. Hope to meet someone from the site, as of now i haven't yet. It'll be me and my son "Bobcat Blake." If you see a white stratos 176xt trimmed in black and yellow that's us.
    HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE.
Thank You Lord, for Your blessings on me.

Good luck and be safe on your trip! I don’t fish down that way but I’m sure you can catch some around the bridges at short and town creek and browns creek ! Maybe try the Chanel ledges/edges !

Well we are back home. Guntersville State Park Lodge is a nice place to stay with beautiful views from our deck. The deer have got it made. We didn't fish a lot of hours but we did visit about 4 bridges. Town creek, short creek, the feed mill bridge and the one down at the boat mart marina. Friday the bridges were getting plenty of business. I only saw a few small crappie get caught and one nice spot. Saturday had less crappie fishermen and more bass fishermen. Saw one boat on a jigging spoon bite at the boat mart. Talked to one man who said there were so many shad in the area it hurt the bite. I certainly don't know, it was our 1st time to visit there. We got skunked, but we were not alone.
