    This is a good video of guy grooving out a crack and welding it up. Stirring the plastic somewhat like a welder stirs metal. Good luck which ever way you go.YouTube

    Saw a video of a guy plastic welding a canoe that used screen wire to reinforce the weld

    That what I am going to do. plastic weld with wire mesh and cover with gator guard.
