Lawd, that's shallow back there. I fished yesterday morning in my kayak and got tired of fighting the wind and zero bites in about an hour. Thinking about trying again tomorrow.
Anyway, nice work!
I fished the back slough to the North of the boat harbor at Ditto today from 11:00AM till about 3:00PM. The fish were scattered following the shad schools, but agreeable. I spider rigged four poles with 1/16oz Marabou jigs about 12 to 15 inches deep in 24 to 30 inches of water. I kept half a limit and returned three slabs that were 15 inches and a couple dozen short fish. I had some minor excitement with a 5 pound bass that took a few minutes to get in. The water was 46 degrees when I put in and had warmed to 48 by the time I left. The water was fairly clear for that slough, with visibility of about 12 inches. Nice short trip.

Not Aldridge Creek, but the slough that's just North or Northeast across the road. It connects to the boat harbor via a small pipe under the road. Most people fish it from the bank, but I drop my kayak in a few times a year and spider rig it.
