    Default Oh my oh my

Prayed hard about a boat. The Lord obviously has other plans for me this year. Others needs are greater than my need for a boat. These verses keep coming up in my mind.

“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.”
    **Luke‬ *9:23‬ *KJV‬‬
Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. | King James Version (KJV) | Download The Bible App Now

“But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.”
    **Luke‬ *12:48‬ *KJV‬‬

so I have been. A few times. I just back seat. Give the driver gas money. My spiritual gift is servitude this is my cross. To cool not to share. I can hitch a ride when I feel the need to fish . A Franklin will cover the fuel.

That is beautiful. Serving others is a big spiritual gift. How does God work? Through His people. I want to thank you for sharing that. My God bless you and your family.

Takes a different mindset but fishing from the bank is an option.

You gotta do whatever you're being lead to do. Keep in mind you don't have to have a high dollar boat, you can pick up a used aluminum boat for a few thousand. Nothing wrong with tagging along either, I find myself looking for a copilot pretty regularly Oh my oh my

Lack of money and other responsibilities is what got me in a kayak many, many years ago. Now I can afford what I want, but I like the small lakes and back waters. Like lowe175 said. A flat bottom with a comfortable seat and a trolling with cover a lot of water if you drive close to your put in.

My Stratos is last century old and I like it. I had prior to that a cheap 14 Crosley Sled 14 foot fiberglass trihull with a 25 Hp Yamaha tiller steer motor. It would go a long ways on a tank of gas. Made a great little crappie boat.
